An evening with astronaut Steve Swanson

Pint of Science and the International Space School Trust (ISSET) are proud to launch the upcoming ‘Astronaut Tour’ which brings former NASA astronaut, Steve Swanson, to the University of Hull.

Steve Swanson soared from working as a software engineer for a telephone company to become Commander of the International Space Station. During his career at NASA Steve accumulated 195 days, 20 hours, 47 minutes in space and was awarded the NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal.

Now that he’s been brought back to Earth, Steve will regale audiences with his remarkable tales of space shuttle missions, life at the International Space Station, and what it’s like to walk in space.

Don’t miss out on this dazzling opportunity to find out what life is really like when you’re out of this world.

Times: Doors open at 7pm, event starts at 7:30pm and ends 9.30pm.
