More than a library

Based at the heart of campus, the Brynmor Jones Library is a creative learning environment that provides extensive services and fantastic facilities.

As well as a range of meeting and teaching rooms, the library offers some of the most unique function spaces available in the region.

The vibrant ground floor Library Café is an impressive space in itself, with an imposing high ceiling and contemporary appearance, but it becomes even more striking once its doors are opened onto the terrace area outside, creating an ideal place for outdoor functions.

The café is also located close to the exhibition hall, home to temporary visiting exhibitions and is linked to an art gallery, which proudly displays the University’s outstanding collection of British art.

For stunning campus and city views, the seventh-floor observatory offers an unforgettable experience. Look closely and you can even see the famous Humber Bridge rising from the skyline.

These individual and combined spaces offer a unique location for drinks receptions and networking events and drinks receptions.
