Arriving at The Courtyard Residence

Use the north entrance of the University off Inglemire Lane. The Courtyard Residence is on your right as you drive on to campus.
Navigate to the reception entrance of The Courtyard Residence:

The Courtyard reception is staffed 24 hours a day. They can be contacted on 01482 462080.

 

Arriving at Westfield Court Residence

Use the West Entrance of the University off Cottingham Road, turning right at the end by the car park.
Navigate to the reception entrance of Westfield Court

Westfield Court reception is staffed 24 hours a day. They can be contacted on 0330 055 2538.

 

Emergency procedures and first aid

Please familiarise yourself with the fire evacuation information displayed in the residence.

In the event of an evacuation, follow the instructions provided by staff outside the building.

If you experience an emergency, require first aid, or begin to feel unwell, please contact the 24‑hour residence reception desk.

If you have already contacted the emergency services, please also notify reception.

During your stay

If you require assistance or have any questions at any time, please visit or call the 24‑hour residence reception desk, see above. To ensure a pleasant environment for all guests, we kindly ask that noise is kept to a minimum after 11:00pm.

Complimentary guest Wi‑Fi is available. Please connect to the guest network and follow the on‑screen prompts on your device.

 

Room‑only stays and B&B bookings

B&B guests:

Your stay includes a weekday premium breakfast buffet featuring cooked items, cereals, toast and a hot drink. Breakfast is served 08:00–09:00 in The Pantry, located within the Canham Turner Building on campus. Please give your name to the serving staff on arrival.

Room-only guests:

Breakfast is not included but items may be purchased using card payment.
Refer to your email booking confirmation for details of your rate.

 

Check‑out procedure

Please return your key set to the residence reception desk by 10:00am on the day of departure.

Please note that charges apply for keys that are not returned.

Visitor parking

The Wilberforce car park on campus provides car parking spaces for visitors and event guests

Enter campus via the North Entrance of the University on Inglemire Lane. Drive straight and follow directions to parking. Navigate to the entrance of the car park:

Charges apply during weekday. No charges for evening evening and weekend.

The car park cost is £1.00 for up to four hours and £2.00 for up to eight hours with payment made by card using either the pay on foot kiosk within the car park or the RingGo app.
